Default Stand Alone Reservoir in trunk...

Has anyone ever put the fuel reservoir for there standalone in the hatch area of the car?
Pictures? Any problems in doing something like this?

I think NHRA rules prohibits unless you have a firewall or bulkhead of some sort.

We have a dedicated that mounts in the rear of an F-body. Though as stated above, may not be NHRA legal by itself. You can click "view large" to get a larger accurate picture of the tank

I'm not trying to knock it or anything but why would you want to mount it in the trunk?

I am trying to clean up the engine bay some and i have room mack there.

Better than adding another tank in the rear is to just tap into the cars tank (fittings available for steel or plastic tanks). I did and run an inline on my aux fuel system. That way you can also have the full race gas rather than a watered down mix of race and standard gas combined. Besides that, it's a lot cheaper.

****, I say a battery relocation and strapin the reservoir in where the battery was looks pretty damn clean. Have you considered that?

I was told it shortens their service life. Doesnt burn em up right away though.

yes they say that? It never seemed to bother mine when I ran race gas thru em. The thing is, we won't be running race gas all the time in a true street/strip car and the guys that get more serious dump the cats anywho.
