Default nitrous purge solenoid bad?

I have a NX purge and I think it might be bad. I was outside installing a pressure gauge on the bottle and after I tightened everything up and turned the bottle on, and I was hearing a hiss. But not from the newly installed pressure gauge. It was coming out of my purge line, if I put my finger over the line I could feel the nitrous leaking out. The only time it stopped was if I pushed my purge button and cleared the pressure from the line. So my question is do I have a bad purge solenoid? It was used when I bought it, but has worked perfect for about a year up until just today.

put power to it and see if you can see anything that stopping it from closing.

Do you mean see if there is anything in the way, jamming it? And keeping it from closing all the way

are you saying in between the purge noid and the other noid? Or you mean its leaking out the other side of the noid?

It isnt leaking at the solenoid technically. Where the nitrous exits the purge out of a steel tube is where it is felt leaking. Not inbetween the nitrous solenoid and the purge solenoid at all. Does that make sense?

Right, its a slow leak when the is pressure in the line. But when I hit my purge button it opens the purge solenoid all the way and a cloud comes out of it like it should. But then it doesn't close all the way when I release the button.

99% of the time its debris stuck on the plunger that's hanging it open causing the leak. You can buy a replacement plunger or send it in to NX to have it replaced, just give them a call.
