Default Whats a "safe" setup for me?

Car is fully forged and sleeved 347. Stock heads MS4 cam ls6 intake stock TB. 9" w/ 4.30s

fuel system is walbro 340 in tank, 42# fords with billit rails

what would you guys recommend? Most likely it will be fo playing around on the street but im sure in time it will get used at the track.

It is my first nitrous kit, so i dont want to go to extreme, but want something that would be good to start with and build on down the road. but i was thinking of starting with a 150 wet and nano kit?

If you are asking what is a safe shot to run on your set up then that depends on what the motor was built to handle. I would guess that you could run a 200 shot no problem, but anything over that I would check with your builder if the rings could take more.

when we built the motor we built it to handle more than a normal shot. Its got iron sleeves and forged everything

its somewhere in the low 400s, its never been on a dyno with a good fuel system so far. Dyno tune is coming in the next month. its currently running 7.4X @ 94-96 in the 1/8th

Going off what you have posted so far I would reccomend Our MAf setup.

http://www.nitrousexpress.com/produc...ils.php?id=757

Install is easy and looks badass with the billet plate. Its a system you will not out grow when you decide to really put the jets to that built motor. Ohhh and that time will come

Im happy to give you a hand in getting the tuneup all looking good and safe. Let me know if there is any other questions you might have.

IF you plan on sticking with the LS6 intake then you can beat the peformance nor the looks of our vehicle specific setup http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...5&product=3907

It comes with Noid brackets for the intake, Fuel Distribution block and hardlines to make a sexy instal. Plus the plate will suit your needs now and it you ever planed to go up to 200hp or even 250hp the plate will have you covered. We have more than several customers right now hitting 200hp and 250hp without problems.

Here is a vid of the car in the pics being dynoed

Some of the big advantages to our MAF kit is it isnt effected by intake changes so if you ever want to go to a fast you dont have to replace half of the kit.

You will get the lightning bottle valve and solenoids. Both are probably the best looking you can get. Our valve also has a built in port for both a "push" system and a gauge.

This means you do not have to run any fitting for the gauge and the gauge will read without the bottle being open. This is one of those feature i find is over looked a lot but I enjoy it a lot on my car.

Our solenoids are the most reliably and highest flowing you will find. Hard to beat them in looks either with the carbon fiber caps and anodized blue/red finish.

The maf also is ready for two stages. This can help with power delivery our also for running a smaller shot on the street.

You could say put the 150 in stage one, 100 in stage 2. This would allow you to spray a 250 at the track or from a roll. and still be able to spray smaller shots for messing around on the street or for trying to make a race more competitive.

When i get the car tuned I am going to go speed density with a custom ram air from the bumper to the TB. So i would need a plate of some kind cuz i will have no where to mount it, and id rather not just stick foggers in the side of the intake pipe.

when i go to a fast, its going to be a 102, but im also more than likely going to go direct port and put the big shot to it then.

chris, i saw the basic kit, is there anything else i would need to order to keep everything good??
