Default Dry shot questions

How quick does the MAF react to the nitrous? I've always ran a wet setup but I have a new idea and it requires a dry setup.

I've seen plenty of people spraying 100-125 through the MAF so i'm assuming it will support that easily. What about a 150?

What would the limit be for the MAF on a dry shot?

My fuel system is a racetronix pump and 39# injectors from an '03 Cobra.

I have seen people do it, but I have no experience with anything bigger than a 125, I have only went to a 125 shot and now switching over to a wet.

I shoot 175 dry into my Procharger inlet pipe before the intercooler. Reacts pretty much instantly, runs very strong. I have 65 pound injectors, running about 93% with that shot. I think it mostly depends on tuner skill to get it to work right.

I ran 125 dry for a few month no real issues other then the nozzle was to close to the maf needs to be far back to fog up properly and orientation. You have enough fuel to do a 150 dry the tune needs to be good and ull be fine.

How would i add the extra fuel if it isn't being sprayed through the MAF?

FWIW I ran the HALO bar on my 00 SS. I do not condone doing what I did as it wasn't the safest way to go about it. Anyway, I ran a 100 shot and pulled timing with the resistor mod. My cam only tune had fairly low timing to begin with for some reason, but the car picked up well on the dry shot. The halo bar will not hit real hard but it comes on nice. Saw nothing to be concerned with while monitoring the hit. The MAF did a decent job on compensating for what I had.

I did not have the ***** to run over a 100 shot without a proper tune though, which I am sure yours will be setup for.

A quick and easy answer... I change the commanded air fuel ratio down to 9.38, when the No2 hits it runs up to 12.4..
there are a few ways to trigger that, I use a IAT tricker..

Yes. It didn't have that instant "hit", it was more gradual.
