Default could i hit tens on a 200 shot with bolt ons and stall?

Ok, this is what i was thinking.

I ran a 12.0 @ 120 w/ a 2.0 60'.. through 2 gears on a 150 wet shot window switch. My 3rd gear wasn't catching on my stock 4l60e (stock stall) untill the trap zone.

So i was thinking,
upgrading to kooks 1 7/8 headers and tsp true duals today, order my stand alone unit from nitrous outlet to run c-16, build my stock 4l60e tranny, and put in a twin disk nitrous stall from circleD, re-tune for a 200 wet shot , and a nice drag pack to lower my 60' .. maybe upgrade my injectors.. and im thinking i should hit 10's.. or low 11's

I'm sure with the stall i should hit a 12.0 on motor, i ran a 12.78 on motor through a stock stall and hurt tranny

what do u all think, thx

I would figure out why your running so slow first. I run 12.3@110 with bolt-ons and stall. If you have a stall you sould be down in the 1.7-1.8 60ft range with a decent dr. Get a mt or tire that will hook damn good and you should be able to get a 1.7 60ft and than spray through the end of first.

I have a window switch, I tend to flip the switch when I feel the car hook.. instead out of the hole.. and with a stall it should be dirty out of the hole.

I'm torn on what wheels to buy so im stick my my DD setup for now...

I would start with the known problems you have. Fix the tranny first and put a stall in it and then go back and try again. Then find some 16s or 15in drag wheels and put some sticky tire on it with more sidewall. Work your setup some more till you got all bugs worked out then if its not where you want, start shooting bigger

i got full bolt on suspension.. sig is not up to date.. stock shocks tho :/. My technique is down, and multiple 'street' passes.. unfortunately where i live, 10's are the new 11's so i have to keep up with everyone else. I'm considering a progressive controller

Tranny is being built, thats the main thing, and while its out I might aswell put the stall/cooler. Wheels and tires are in the budget, I'm just undecided on what wheels to buy. I'm not going to focus on motor runs, my car is more built/tuned towards nitrous right now. It will stay on a 150 with my stand alone, then get retuned for the next trip to the track for a before/after

Well i would say your set to go for 10's with the 150 shot. You should not need 200 shot to get 10's with full bolt-ons, stall, traction and 150 shot

How much does your car weigh with you in it? Fix your tranny and do a stall. I don't think you will have issues running 10's. I was planning on running high 10's when my car was bolt ons with only a 100 shot. I did the heads and cam before I could find out though. A higher stall speed converter makes a world of difference.

My plan is 10.4s on a 125-150 shot with a bone stock ls1 with just bolt-ons including staying with my ls1 intake as well. So I think if you get your problems with your tranny figured out and add a stall you will be happy with the results

Why'd you take out the 3600 stall that was in it?

Ill be extremely happy to hit 10's on the 100 shot. I am getin a refill tommarow and going to the track friday. Rasing the car up tonight to get it ready for the track so I can hopefully get atleast 1.7 60ft.
