Default What feed line do I need?

So I have the brand x single nozzle wet nitrous kit and I am wondering what size feed line I need. My feed line got burnt on my exhaust and I am needing a new one. I have a 15lb bottle so wich line do I need? -3, -4, or -6

There are plenty of people that have been well into the 8's and 5's with -4 lines.

If you don't plan on spraying more than 300-400+ constantly with multiple stages and dual bottles it isn't worth it.

I didn't put that in my post and I should have.

Length and the path it has to travel will play a difference also. I purposely made the nitrous feed line longer than it should to mount my bottle where the pass. seat used to be so that the nitrous didn't get to the plate before the fuel did. It seems to get there just about the same time with the nitrous still beating it there by a hair of a margin.

Length is the main thing though.

I've honestly thought about it and read so much about it that at this point in time I don't think it's a restriction especially where I am now.

When I get comfortable and ballsy enough to try 250-300 it might not be enough. I'm going to start weighing my bottle after passes on the bigger tunes so I know if I am still gaining lb/per hour like I am on the smaller jet. I used 6 pounds on 4 passes last week, and I still haven't pulled the 15lber from the car from Saturday to see how much I used. I know there was 9-10 left in it and I made 5 passes IIRC so I'm sure it's empty.

I think I'll be good with a 100 shot with a 14 foot line. I hope my 14 foot line reaches from my spare tire area to the my solenoid on the front

Honestly it's a well debated topic. The general consensus is 250 is where you will start to see a difference in between the two and anything past that the differences will become bigger and bigger.

I've heard length and routing plays a part also as another member said.

I wouldn't spray more than 150-175 on a single nozzle for atomization reasons. Meaning one, two or three maybe more cylinders get more nitrous/fuel/air than the others and end up hurting parts.

I ran my brand X nozzle up to 150 before switching to a plate. The plugs looked fine, I bet I could have gone 175 - 200 but I decided I wanted to take the safer route.
