Default zex nitrous mangment unit

Hey im new to the nitrous on fuel injected stuff lol, Ihave been around nitrous for a very long time in carbureted cars, currently have a big block Plymouth drag car with a 2 stage kit on it,
But I bought a car a while back to flip that had a zex wet kit with the nitrous management unit on it, I kept the kit in hopes to install on my C5 while the new motor is being built, so here I am..
has anyone ever ran this on a ls1? does it work like they say? the kit has a window switch,heater,purge,ls1 plate, and all. I will only spraying 100 hit no need for more at this time

car is a 99 frc c5 6speed ls7 clutch, borla cat back, CAI, stock everything else

Yes.... Works good.
I had mine back in the day with 125 shot + 100 dry kit on a 120,000 mile stock LS1.

Worked for me too.
I ran that kit for 3+ years before going with a plate from nitro Daves.
I gave that Zex kit to a friend who installed it on his '99 Mustang GT.
With bolt-on's he is now running mid 12's on a 100 shot.

Is this kit still made by Zex? The idea behind it is to provide a safer way to spray, correct? Can someone explain to me what the unit does and other benefits.

Zex still makes it.
I don't think it's any safer then any other kit out there.
What it does have going for it is the ease of installation.
The TPS switch and both fuel and nitrous 'noids are housed inside of a nice, neat compact box, [ The nitrous management unit ], that only has a total of three wires you need to hook up. One to power, one to the wot pin, [ #22 if I remember ], and one to ground.

It was easy to hook up, compact design, window switch was a pain(never done one before)

OP, is the nitrous plate a zex plate, or another companies plate? I looked online for the zex kit, but the one I found specific for the LS1 didn't come with a plate; it came with a nozzle.

It's just a fogger nozzle, zex brand, this kit is just to get me buy while my new engine is being built then I will run a direct port kit (if needed)

I would go straight to the 125 shot.
The ZEX kit also adjust the system if fuel pressure drops and compensates for this. It does work too

Thank you. That is what I thought it did, but couldn't remember. I remember reading on here in the past about people arguing back and forth whether it actually works or not. As far as I know, it's the only nitrous system that does this, correct? In my mind, it's a great safety feature that I'd want to have.
