Default What's better for a 125hp shot...plate or nozzle???

I am looking into putting spray on my 00 Z28. It has all the crap to make 400hp naturally aspirated to the rear wheels. I want to add 125 shot to it so it makes a extra 100 at the rear wheels. Which is better....single nozzle or plate?? Thanks in advance...

Plate will def be better, nozzle system is a little cheaper and will also work well on that size of a shot.

I run a 125 shot nozzle setup. No issues and works great

The performance is nearly the same between a plate or a nozzle, despite popular belief. It is mainly going to be a visual difference between the two, for what you are doing.

For what its worth, one of our guys has been spraying 250hp for a couple years now on a cam only 5.3. ( Single Nozzle System)

If I went to 150 shot.. I should be fine as long as pressures are within spec?

Yes just make sure you have enough fuel pump and cooler plugs, and the right amount of timing pulled.

That was my next question if you don't mind... I have 42# injectors, not sure what fuel pump...what would you recommend for pump to be on safe side? Rule of thumb...2deg of timing per 100 hp of nitrous???

Rule in general is 2 degrees per 50 shot, and a 255 pump and hotwire kit will be your best bet

Are you going for a wet or dry kit?

OP,

Alot of people prefer to use Racetronix stuff or Walbro also makes a drop in.
