Default 150 shot, stock fuel pump?

Is anyone spraying a 150 shot on a stock fuel pump?

You can do it just keep and eye on the fuel pressure. I wouldnt go any more than that.

You're playing with fire IMO. You already have a cam and other mods. Why risk it when you can get a Racetronix plug and play kit for a few hundred? Racetronix kit info can be found on our website:

That'll work too. If you go that route make sure you also run a new wiring harness for the fuel pump (or else it will be just as if you had a stock pump) and you'll loose some functionally of the stock fuel system when you cut the bucket up. But it will work.

hurm, i just stuck with the stock wiring harness. I did go with the Walbro 255 "forced induction" model. still probably just fine

Will the Racetronix kit work in a truck (2000 4.8)?

If you kept the stock harness installed how is the fuel pump going to get more voltage? It's going to get the same amount as a stock fuel pump. You have one piece to the puzzle, now you just need the other. We have the wiring harness; they just aren't up on the website yet. Let me know if you have any questions.

It is a bad idea to save a 100 or 200 by not getting a pump and causing thousands of dollars in damage, spend the money now and it is just added insurance

So the racetronix kit is a direct bolt in? No type of tuning or anything has to be done
? How is it better than the stocker? Does it just bump the fuel pressure up? Wondering becasue I will be getting some ported heads sometime in the near future and Iwould like to add a 100 wet shot on top of that. So i need to upgrade the fuel system. Just wondering if the racetronix is my best option. Thanks guys.

Please let me rephrase the question. Has anyone on here blown up when spraying a 150 wet shot on an LS1 F-body while using only a stock fuel pump to supply fuel and with a fuel pressure safety switch?
