nitrous with a stock 4l60e
i was reading through some of the transmission forum posts, and read that someone only got 25-30 passes on their stock trans with a shot of nitrous before it went to pot.
i guess what im asking is can i run a 125 wet shot on a stock trans and stock converter? without replacing it 2 months down the road? its a street car that will not see the track very often. what are your thoughts and feelings on this issue? experiences?
thanks guys and gals

If you don't spray through your shifts, your tranny should hold up just fine. That said, remember that "**** happens" and your tranny could go out tomorrow with or without the nitrous, but I've seen these transmissions take quite a beating and still hold out for a long time.
FWIW, I'm still using my bone-stock tranny (fingers crossed ).

we'll know soon enough. if i haven't already, i'll be passing 30 soon on the wife's car. and i'm doing 175 n2o on top of the mods to the car now. i'll count up my timeslips on her car. spraying through shift as well.
nitrous is a fickle thing. it will find the weak part of your drivetrain and exploit it

ok only 17 with hers. not including the street incidences . so, i'm halfway there. i'll let you know when 30 happens. really though. with any hp increase,(NA, FI, N2O) the weak points come to light.
