100 Shot + Flycut Pistons = ??????
Is anyone spraying on top of flycut pistons? I'm wanting to go this route and there is very little info on this subject, so whats your thoughts? Is anyone doing this?

I've been looking into this as well, and there is not a lot of info on it. It has been done, but most of the shops that I've talked to say they've done it on shop cars w/o problems, but don't really recomend it.
I've also heard the opposite, that the area where the reliefs are cut is very thick, and and they will have little to no affect on the strength of the piston.
I am more worried about screwing up the combustion process (affecting flame propogation?), or possibly leaving a burr or something that could become a hotspot and lead to detonation or pre-ignition.

I just ordered the Dual Nozzle kit from Nitro Daves.
You and I have pretty similar set-ups, and my pistons a notched also. I only plan on running a 100shot as well. I think that will be enough for the time being.

.090" on the intake and .060" on the exhaust spraying a 200 shot. This was a customer’s car. Hit them with a little sand paper so you don't have any rough edges and you'll be good.
EDIT: I'll try to dig up some picts, I do have some around here somewhere.

Car in sig. I had MTI`s Y1 cam with flycut pistons. I sprayed a 150 shot all day long. Never had any problems. It`s all in the tuning when you spray. O` don`t forget the fuel sytem helps also!

Guys thanks for the input, I really appreciate it. It puts my mind at ease, seeing what type of shot you all are running. So I guess if I go with a small shot (100), I should be fine. What else would you recommend : Swithes, Kits, Fuel Pumps, Injectors.........?

As mentioned once you flycut hit up the pistons with some fine grit sand paper to remove any sharp edges.
Reduce the timing and have a strong enuf fuel system and run a few gallons of 100 octane to be safe should cover the bases.
I'll be spraying a NX150hp wet shot soon also.
