Default NX MAF Kit...How to manage a 200 shot

Hey there 200 wet shot fans...Since I don't want to dump the whole 200 shot at 3700 rpm into my motor what is the best way to manage a 200 shot wet...i figure it will have to me either a MSD window switch or Progressive Controller.

the $206 progressive controller from NX/FJO will certainly allow you to spray a 200 shot with no other modifications to the kit. If you go dual stage you will need another set of noids and lines to the MAF and another window switch. And then set it up by rpm.

I would just do the $206 progressive...I cant say enough about these little jewels really.

You can either do it with a progressive controller or a window switch or both. I had mine set up as a dual stage with seperate noids for each stage using the window switch to set when it came on and the progressive controller to set the ramp rate.

I think going with a dual stage would be the ticket with your setup. I know it will take more money (Y connectors, another set of 'noids and hoses/jets) but that is what makes the MAF kit sooooo COOL! It is designed for a dual stage and looks killer when done that way! I would spray a 75 shot out of the hole and then the second stage of 125 after shifting to 2nd gear.
Either way you go, you will need a progressive controller to either regulate your exsisting setup or to control a 2 stage setup.

so with a progressice controller, a dual stage is not very necessary?

i like the idea of a 2 stage- like said above, 75 into a 125 would be pretty good, but if the controller is cheaper then it would make more sense

I think the bigger FJO progressive does dual stage also. I am going, Window switch, RPM sw, and then a progressive for the 3rd stage. Three kits and any combo of the three together or seperate. So, I'll have a 3 stage set-up with the third stage progressively controlled.

Yes, a controller is the cheaper way, but also harder on the solenoids when doing a progressive. That's what I will be using to take some of the huge torque hit away from the driveline. Whole other story there...
You could do a dual stage without a controller, but it will run easier with one - and yes doing it this way is more expensive but "could" be cheaper in the long run if there is less chance of problems.

I will be using a timing tuner for the first 100 and a msd window switch for the second 100.

I totally agree, and Nitro Dave can hook you up. It's a snap to install. You can't go wrong...

I spoke with Jeremy at NX...the NX/FJO Solenoid controller/Window switch 2 piece setup that I think NitroDave has on special? works well for this application...I need to learn more about these. I always thought that they looked well made in photos. I'm not going to go back through the one product vs another bs on this...i do want sturdy well designed/manufactured pieces....in my case I think i'm going to use the MSD WS i've had for a while and see how it works. I do need to look into the $$ on the FJO boxes from Dave.

Man -- i missed this -- was at dyno until midnight and didn't get home until 3:00am...i'm way too old for this!! BTW- saw a Ford GT get Dyno Tuned by Pro-Dyno in Charlotte, NC...got to admit I'm just a little jealous!! LOL.

Thanks Al for the FJO info I missed.
