Default can i use a slp maf with a nx maf kit?

what the title says...i have a slp maf that came with my car and i want to know if i can use it if i get a nx maf kit...

The 85mm MAF? If so I think it replaces the 3 piece stock configuration as a whole unit. The NX MAF deletes the aluminum cases that surround the MAF sensor grid and replaces it with a nicely machined new metal front and rear pieces. The rear has the nozzle built in. That's what I understand. NX or Dave are obviously the last word here.

yea i wasnt sure if the slp came apart or not....

Covered? Are you saying/hinting/SCREAMING that you know a way to use a higher flow MAF with the NX MAF ends so that, for instance, one who requires more air can attain their lofty goals?

The SLP MAF is just a Delphi truck MAF that's been tricked
to act "close enough" to stock. But there's two types and
one of them is set to make the car run lean and add timing,
not such a good idea for this use. Which one, and do you
trust it enough to run untuned?

Macon - the 1-piece MAF system that we have for the Corvettes and GTO's is for the 85mm 1-piece style housing. This is what Ricky was referring to.
