Default Opinions on MSD's digital window switch MSD-8969

Talking about this:

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

The search engine isn't working right now so I am posting...

I need a window switch and like the idea of dialing it in from the interior with no pills.

Anyone had any experience with this piece (good or bad)?

Thanks!

i have it and im very happy with it. the only thing im pissed about is that i can't do 50rpm increments, only 100 rpm increments. not sure if there even is a window switch that does 50rpm increments though.

i reccomend it

We carry this unit and have had no problems with it. I prefer this unit more.

I use this. Easy to program. I do have a small issue of an LED segment being out in it...no big deal. I bought mine from Nitro Dave...i'm sure he'd swap it out if i'd ever ask. They arn't water proof per MSD but can be mounted under the hood. I'll keep mine until I go with a progressive multi stage unit.

That's the other one I was considering because I still need a WOT switch...

I really like the look of the MSD one though. I was going to have it replace my ashtray...

Thanks guys!

The MSD unit is a good size unit. To big for ashtray I would think.

I meant I was going to cut the console to fit it and mold it in... sorry for the mixup.

I just hate having a place for an ashtray in the car

I have had no issues with my switch only wish it had a first gear lock out, but you can always add one. I would just throw it under the hood, there is no real reson to adjust it of it is set, so I am not sure why you would hack up the console to put it in.

Is there a digital window switch that already comes with a 1st gear lockout?
