So im at a lose for words here, took the car to the track tonight with the new 28in tires. I ran about 5 spray runs...all but 1 were terrible, My MSD Digital window switch sometimes turns the nitrous off even when its under the shut off point. Anyways My car traps around 90mph consistantly on motor, yet when i spray the car it gains nothing in mph. Hell I got my best time tonight a 7.45@89mph with a 1.60 60ft....granted that 60ft was a big help but the car sprayed through 1st, 2nd, then didnt spray in 3rd...But id assume id pick up at least 5mph Im I missing somthing here, has this happend to anybody else?

Are you sure it was spraying? I'll send you a checklist to go over when I get to work on Tuesday.

You can deffinently feel it turing on. And the Micro switch hasnt moved...One of my friends said he had this problem with the digital Window switch, thanks for the checklist

Its a possibility, but no way to know, everybody elses MPH seemed fine, but last time i went..I think i trapped 92mph at best...and thats kinda weak for a 150shot when ive trapped 91 on motor at best...Or hell i may be wrong...never really researched anybody elses time

Very unlikely, I cant remember what it was set it at, No spark no knock, less then aggressive tune. Its almost like you can feel the nitrous hit....but the car dosnt really do anything...OOOO wait i just figured it out...Must have filled my tank with NAWWWZ from Harrys shop, I beleive I saw Brian Spooner fill it. That wouuld explain the sensation that its going faster..but its not

Sounds like its not even coming on, because you would definitly feel it, i've done this before, thinking my nitrous was kicking in, but in reality it wasn't, when i looked at the mph, it was the same, then i figured out it wasn't activating, once fixed, it was VERY noticable. My MPH that night (crappy night) was 97/98 in the 1/8, on a little 125 powershot system, it went 104+ in the 1/8 & i was hanging on lol.

Ive thought about that too. The fallowing night I took the car out to run to the store, turned everything on and hit it in 2nd gear...sure felt like it was hitting, It it was by any weird reason....Id hate to see it when its operating correctly. When my Edge gets here, ill be ditching the MSD WS and the mechanical WOT switch

i feal your pain i just got back from the track i would pick up 6 to 8 miles in the 8th and then end up runing my motor 1/4 mph but a half second quicker i can feal it cut off check my window switch and it wouldnt be reading rpm but if i take it out on the highway the hoe pulls hard enough to run right next to a bikes

i had this problem last year so rewired my kit and sodered everything has worked fine till tonite so if u figure it out please let me know what it was and if i figure something out ill let u know

itsjustasb, no problem, ive heard its a problem with the MSD WS. So im going to use the micro edge and hopefully it will accually pick up some speed. Ill try and get to the track on the 26th

ya i heard that 2 so thats why i got a bnm racing one i hope u figure it out i know its gota **** u off cause im mad as hell one week i can go 11.4 at 123 on 100 shot but cant get my suspion tuned in next week i figure out my suspension problem and slap a 150 jet in cant get it to spray but i go 11.6 at 113 and it seems not alot people have had this problem i trired searching and couldnt find much oh well im going to stop venting let me know how it gos on the 26

lol yea....i was pretty pissed, It felt like the car sprayed, but the numbers dont lie. No way in hell can I run 90mph on motor...and 90mph on spray. Hell with just the shot off the line I dropped my 60ft to a 1.60 and my ET .4 I was happy about that, but cant wait to see what itll do on a full pass.
