Well I am SO ready to race now.. Actually I am too ready now as I managed to spend all my money prepping my car for the track. So now I won't be able to race until March! Total bummer.

Works for me. I don't have axles yet. Did you get the 2 stage worked out?

Well, plus it's still gonna be cold and dewy at the track in the morning anyhow... if the track temp dips below 40 degrees, our stickies ain't gonna stick to the ground. Launching will be even trickier, and the tires will have more trouble on the back half of the track where the pavement will be even cooler...

Got about another month to wait for the weather to start even thinking about cooperating with us racers...

If the weather stays good I'll be there to document even with the tranny work the car won't be ready (need some bushings and stuff first)

lol I just don't wanna end up breaking something else, as a preventive maintenance measure. I just can't afford it right now lol. But for now I'm lookin at 1LE control arms a torque arm bushing and a tranny mount. which I can do the labor on myself.

1LE control arms? Is there even a difference? You would be better off getting a tubular design. I might be selling mine in a couple months if you want to wait that long.

Mainly bushing design I think, only $98 for a pair of 1LE LCA's. After talking with bill last night I realize why poly LCA bushings are a bad idea (and it makes sense). So I'm just gonna get those until I can afford a set of Spohn Rod-ended LCA's.

However...with the air that cold, might put up some good mph...if you don't spin terribly, the car will still post a good mph on the other end...I'd like to go, but car still isn't dialed in where I want it, and who knows if I'll even be off work...we'll see what happens, but it's doubtful I'd go...maybe I should get some baseline #'s on my Dodge ...18 seconds, here I come!

I'd be up to going if the weather is acceptable. I haven't done anything to my car but it would be nice to get it out and do some WOT runs to knock the winter cobwebs off.

If I could hook it would be a good way to get a best time, too.
