Default Last minute Thunder Shootout rules question

In P/S, the rules state mufflers are required, and collector mufflers are OK. How about collector inserts? Not quite the same as a muffler, but they do the same thing...

Can I get a ruling?

I'm wondering why they even require mufflers on a class with 3200# cars with transbrakes, solid rollers, and all-out madness.

Mufflers? Those shouldn't be required on Pro Stock or Pro Mod IMHO.

Especially since Thunder sells cutouts <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

Nope.... a insert is not considered a muffler.

In the m/s power adder class, how is qualifying going to work. How many qualifying passes do you get. After qualifying does the first place qualifier run the last place qualifier, secound runs secound to last and so on in round one?

This means that in a 32 car field, the #1 qualifier will run #16 car, #2 will run #17, etc.

In the Pro-Stock and Pro-Outlaw classes, we are going to run a Pro Ladder. This means that in a 16 car field, #1 runs #16, #2 runs #15, etc.

We are going to have a 16 car field for the Pro Classes and a 32 car field for the other classes. Due to the time constraints of a one-day event, we are hoping to get in two qualifying passes for everyone.

Angie, so there are only 32 cars allowed in m/s power adder class? Also, will it be single or double ellimation?

Single elimination.
