Default Plati Dip? WTF?

PLASTI-DIP^^^

Sooo I discovered Plasti Dip after cruising corvetteforum after I got my C5 about 6 months ago...this stuff is pretty damn cool...

I dipped my rear lower bumper, as well as my wheels... Obviously the best part about this stuff is that if you don't like it, you can simply just peel it off with out harming anything.... Here are some shitty pix and a crappy vid showing the easy removal....

I'll get the vid up later... It looks amazing in person , pix don't do it justice

You can do as many coats as you like, I just didn't have the patience for that ****...

It only comes in flat black, it looks like a satin black on the wheels...

Since I don't have a can in front of me to read directions, what about prep? ASSuming wheels just need to be clean of grease and dirt?

LOL. after the header install, I never got around to aligning the tips... C5 cat backs are NOTORIOUS for having crooked tips...

Prep, just wash with soap and water, dry it, and spray, straight forward and easy...

sounds interesting, and if its cheap im gonna try it. im still worried about wear and tear, since its so easy to take off, how easy would it be for it to chip off or scratch, but since its spray on, im assuming you can just touch it up and your leisure. and i wonder did it leave any kind of residue or anything on your wheels when you took it off?
