Just fill the cup holder up with bondo, And let it dry and sand it smooth.

Get some roof caulking and fill the ashtray seam in till you can't see it..

Then paint!

I wouldn't use Bondo. It isn't meant to stick to plastic and will probably crack. There's something you can do that I think is called chemical welding or something like that. You can use acetone and a heat gun to melt pieces of ABS plastic to it. There's a guy in the Appearance forum that was doing it.

Yea youre right. After a while the bondo will shake from normal road driving and youll have a crack like a circle.

and bondo is meant to be a skim coat and not to fill up something like a cup holder anyway.

Look into having them fiberglassed over, then you put bondo over the fiberglass, sand it smooth, prime, paint clear

Won't it have a soft spot now if you lean your elbow on it?

mine gets used every day of the week except sunday so that cupholder is important to me. hell on sundays and when I don't have a drink it's where the cell phone goes so I wouldn't get rid of it myself.
