I have a standard bore LQ9 block that I want to trade for a gen III aluminum 5.3. My LQ9 needs a .010 over bore "just to be safe" according to my machinist. The block includes stock main caps. It would be a good block for a 370, 408 or 418 build. I'm not interested in DOD blocks. Call or text @ 727 215 8620

Is this the proper way to crate a engine and ship it? I truly hope this was the doing of a really awful shipping company! No main caps were included with this shipment, they did not arrive with the block. We had discussed the drilled/tapped oil galley which I was fine with, but I do not understand why it was drilled out to 1" and tapped. A plug, when seated blocks a good portion of the galley now. I had really hoped for better than this based on the clear communication we had. I am very disappointed in this transaction, please resolve this, I have opened a paypal dispute and will escalate it to a claim if needed. Im honestly unsure if this block is even useable at this point.

Still working with the seller. The trucking company lost the main caps. Waiting for a resolution.

Seller went dark on me after I refused to pay the return shipping, I don't think I should be responsible for that as I did not receive what I paid for. Seller also had ZERO insurance on the shipment. This is now in the hands of PayPal. Considering I do better than $40,000 a year worth of business through them I am hoping they side with me as I'm getting screwed here and have a solid account with them.

Moderators please leave this add active as it's linked to my dispute with paypal.

GL, Paypal refused to cover my return shipping on an item that was broken. They said the seller would have to agree to cover it.

Claim is Closed, Paypal found in my favor and I have been refunded.

It appears as if the seller used someone elses paypal account to conduct the transaction as well as his name does not match up with the one I sent the money to. Hopefully they are aware of the chargeback they just received!!

To the seller..
I know you have been logging into LS1 Tech as I can see your current activity. If you want this block back you have until the 22nd of May to arrange shipping and have it picked up, after that I will simply scrap it as Paypal is not requiring me to ship it back to you..

Update: 8:00am
Just received a text from the seller after I informed him that paypal sided with me on the claim given the information provided and that I have been refunded.

"Go F#ck yourself" was his response.

Apparently it is my fault that he did a **** poor job of crating this engine block and did not insure it. Real mature.

Just glad its done with.

Let this be a lesson to anyone that agrees to pay for a product as a "gift" via paypal. If I would have done that, I would have had NO recourse here. Think of paypal fees like insurance, its worthwhile to pay them.

Don't scrap it send it the machine shop and have it fixed! It a free block at this point and lq4 and lq9 are starting to be hard to come by.
