Default 5.3 in camaro

Hello
Tomorrow I'll will be tunning a 98 Camaro with a 5.3. Using HP Tuners in the VCM editor under Engine>Engine Size do I need to change the cylinder volume to 0.66594L from 0.70821L?
Thanks

bump. I know someone knows the answer to this. Is volume size important? I would assume it would be but not sure.
Thanks

Yes. You need to do that. I would also recommend using the VE table from a stock 5.3 tune as a better starting point.

IF it has a LS1/LS6 mani don't use the 5.3L VE. Use the LS1 VE with the altered Cylinder Volume.

There is no difference in the 5.3L that would cause drastic differences in the VE. Maybe the CR but that is about it.

More information = more answers.

1) Stock 5.3?
2) Injectors??
3) H/C???

Cylinder Volume, Injector Flow Rate, VE, MAF are all proportional variables that you can manipulate seven ways to sunday.

Why the 5.3? Why not a LQ4 or 9? Going down on displacement will be less than exciting in an Fbody.

My guess is demand is related to price. You can pick up a 5,3 for next to nothing.

Makes Sense. I assumed the cylinder volume was information only based. In fact I did some comparisons between 408s and 346s and the value was the same, as far as HPTuners repository. My question now is; Dose the pcm calibrate the tables automatic based on this value or do I need to manually make changes?
Thanks again guys

Sorry its 5.3 with TR224 on a 112

The pcm does not calibrate anything- that is up to you.
