wtf is going on with my computer??!!
long story short i had my motor rebuilt after it blew up with a new cam. I just got off of the phone with the new shop and they called to tell me that they cannot tune the computer because it is coming back locked like it is now password protected. There are a few problems with that.
1) the shop that tuned it last is no longer around
2) the shop that tuned it last put such a stupid tune on it, it blew up the motor, so there is no ******* way i would let them get near it again
so what can i do??
i want my car to run, but if we cant tune it for the new cam it obviously wont. WTF IS GOING ON?!?!

Yeah, there are really only a handful of people that unlock locked pcm's, most are in NZ or Australia & shipping to and from alone is usually more than a new LS1 pcm costs. Basically they would need to run through each seed/key combination possible until they find the one that unlocks the pcm...this usually take a minimum of 2 days and most charge $50+ for the service plus shipping.
New definitions & vin/os pair errors are very different from a pcm you cannot even read

I got my spare PCM from 'valvegod' (smcperformance is his
dot-com business) and I believe 'wait4me' has a supply of
PCMs and could also throw you one with a best-guess mail
order tune on it if you want (figuring a straight stock one,
is probably not likely to run well with the built motor) Do
not think wait4me locks his stuff, but you should insist on
unlocked wherever you buy from or just don't give them your
business; tuner-lock is stealing from you, and you get to find
out later.

Thanks jimmy, No i dont lock the ls1 type controller. I can unlock any ecm no matter how locked.
If a business is no longer around. I only charge $30 bucks to unlock it and i ship them beck out the same day they come in usually.
I Do have ecms here also for everyone that are very cheap. Programmed to vin is only $75 for a p59 controller. "ls1" type
