Wow that's a SUPER tall gear to run behind a t56.......I ran the 3.23's for a few weeks and they sucked, I can't imagine 2.73's.

When I did my swap, I just did a "write entire" with a '98 M6 file and everything worked fine. To adjust your speedometer, divide your tire height by 2.73 to find the correct ratio.

Good to know. I'm about to do this conversion too. I've copied 02 M6 LS1 hoping I can just copy the file to my tune.

I never could get a "write entire" to work on my PCM. HPT has a walkthrough of how to program your gears on a 98 to make the speedo correct.

Don't forget the A4s have a 40 tooth reluctor wheel and the T56 has a 17 tooth reluctor.

Here is a link to the how to demo's http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5058
scroll down and look for the "Gear Change for 98 LS1 Fbodies". This will walk you through how to get it corrected.

You didn't do a gear change or tire size change

You did a transmission change
You need to change the VSS pulses per Rev-Trans from 40 to 17

Actually you need to do it right and get a stock M6 tune and do a write entire. Then change your gear ratio.
