How to get VSS back into PCM??
I recently put a 4L80e in my 2004 GTO using a standalone TCI controller. My car's PCM no longer gets the VSS signal because it goes into the standalone controller. I want to get that signal back into the stock computer so that I can do some logs of RPM vs speed. I tried tee'ing into the VSS off of the trans and going back into the stock VSS plug to no avail. Any ideas?
Also I just thought of this, I wonder if the TCI software can log RPM vs speed because it had both already... hmmm... I'll have to check when I get home.
Thanks,
Adam

The gtos use a totally different pcm so it would require a whole harness swap among other things. It's just not worth it. Once I figure this problem out the car will be perfect. It drives perfect now the only reason I wanna do this is to use some different features of the pcm.

I PMd you about a year ago. I have a 2004 GTO tune with a 4l80e segment installed in it. I did not do the segment swap. It is not doable to normal people. Someone MUCH smarter than me put it together.

The other option is just like the f-body has. Run the 80e with the 60 segment and a couple of wiring changes. This is the best way anyway as it keeps the converter from unlocking every time throttle is lifted.
