Default SES Light question?

Ok, so I just recently got LS1edit. I have had the EGR/AIR ripped off the car for a while now and so the SES light has been on for atleast 6 months. Now that I have edited the program to delete the AIR/EGR the light is still on. How do I get the light to go off? Do I have to do the remove the fuse for 15 minutes to reset the computer or what? Any suggestions.....

Can someone recap me on how to do the reset (pulling a fuse) thing? Thanks

Turn key to on position (don't start the car)
take out PCM bat & PCM ign fuse
wait a couple of seconds......
turn car off and remove key
put fuses back in and wait about 30 seconds
Then you have to do the idle relearn procedure
If you don't let me know

Good luck.

It is a little different depending on the year and tranny on your car.

Here is the link.

When you reset, shouldn't the trip gauge reset? Mine was still on. Although my car definitely acted as if it had been reset. Idle jumped to 2000 as soon as I started it.
