Exclamation Bad ecu


How could i check if my ecu is bad and its the cause my car does not turn on

put another one with the same year/trans type/injec size, etc (or ideally the same calibration) and see if the car runs.

That's how I'd do it

but i heard it needs to be the same vin which means there is no other one the same but illl see if i can find one which i really dont know any one with a 2001 m6

What manner of troubleshooting has led yo to believe that the PCM is the culprit here?
