Still trying to get my 07 LY6 running in my nova. Still fighting the no injector pulse issue but noticed something else too. Vehicle speed shows 158mph all the time... With or without the sensor plugged in. Both sides of the sensor wires show 2.5 volts. Wires are good all the way to the pcm. PCM grounds are good. Everything else functions properly except for having no injector pulse. Could the PCM kill injector pulse because of the false speed reading?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated as this has been a on going issue keeping me from dyno time and street miles!

I have the same problem with the LY6 in my GMC truck. 158mph no matter what I change the settings to in HP Tuners. I also hooked up a speed sensor to my TH350 and hooked it up to my E38. No change. Truck runs fine this way, and the main difference is some of the tables have settings for a vehicle in motion so kinda gave up worrying about it. Having researched it for a while I think the problem is that our LY6 motors were connected to a Transmission Control Module to handle the transmission. The E38 with our software is looking for some type of input from the TCM that is different from what comes from a speed sensor. From what I can figure out the speed sensor feeds the TCM and the TCM feeds its ouput to the ECU. I don't have a TCM to test this but I have tried everything else without any luck. On a side note I just cranked my L76 motor on my test stand to make sure my wiring is correct. Same e38, similar motor and very similar settings in HP Tuners. It does not display a speed in HP Tuners.
Hope this helps, please post back if you find a solution.

If you are having problems with the speed limiter, you have to set table H0156 to "ECM"
Also, found this under VATS in EFILive for an 07 Silverado: "There is no defined VATS disable in this ECM, to disable VATS you must select either Type 2 or Type 3 from this list and apply the VATS patch to the operating system."
I don't have the patch, but looks like your tuner needs to apply that to the operating system in order to disable VATS...

vehicle speed was not the issue. The starter enable wire needs to see a ground or else it kills injector pulse. Car starts and runs now. Thanks for the help tho guys!
