Default Help with trouble codes and warranty info

Hey guys. I started throwing the SES light not long ago and just went to get it checked.

I was throwing several codes.

P0420 - Twice, I believe this is bank 1 low catalyst efficiency. I have had this occur before and fixed it myself with O2 sensors. I'm afraid it may be the cat, though.

P0161 - Once. Any idea what this is?

p1416 - I believe this is a check air valve on bank 2. I have replaced this before also.

I can see no problems performance-wise. The car has been running fine.

I need to get my car to pass emissions inspections before months end, so I need to get this fixed. What is the warranty like for these parts? I know most of the emissions parts are under a longer warranty than the powertrain warranty. I don't want to have to spend a butt-load to fix this stuff. I can afford it, but don't want to.

Will my mods void the warranty? I have done the free ram air mod, LID, and a Loudmouth?

The manufacturer is required by federal law to replace the cats if they go bad, unless you have like 50k miles or something (I don't remember how many). It's not something they like to advertise loudly. If you are still under warranty, it is covered. You don't have any mods that would cause you any dealership problems. I had the same prob when I was under warranty, and the dealer replaced the cat. It could also be an O2 sensor.

Thanks guys. Any more info anyone?

The car has 56,000 miles. I thought the cats were 80,000/8 years. How long are the other emissions control parts?

Well, I'm going to try to replace the drivers side rear O2 sensor, the passenger rear O2, and the passenger side check valve. If that doesn't work, I'll just take it to the dealer. If its a cat they should replace it.

Well, I switched both rear O2 sensors and the check air valve on the right side. My SES light is still on.

I'm going to have it read again at Auto Zone after work tomorrow. I am pretty sure the problem is going to be the left front O2 sensor or the left side Cat.

Note: After a few days, the SES is off. I believe the work done is all that was needed.
