You will need a null modem adapter to join the LC-1 serial cable to the V2 serial cable. Or you can buy the single dedicated cable.
With the V2 connected to your computer, launch V8.2 scan and tune. Doesn't need to be connected to LC-1 or car. F6-->F6, check box "Automatically select all external digital PIDS". Save and Program.
Then F8: Serial I/O. Com Port: WIDEBAND. Display layout as you want. Wideband Type: Innovate.

Does the above listed diagram work? I see all these rumblings of needing a null modem adapter..My plan was just to goto ratshack/home depot/kmart and get a RJ12 cable, ohm it out and solder onto the supplied jack that came with my lc1

With V8 S&T, did you go into Devices and set coms to Wideband and Type to Innovate (as said above)...?
And the tuning pids (BEN) you want are provided in the calc_pids.txt file in post #1 of the Calc.VET thread (under Gen III).

If your NBO2 and MAF are still enabled, and your wideband is installed, then start off by doing the Calc.VET tutorial, it gives quick results (corrects MAF and calculates VE in one log session... but do read the thread, it helps you get good data).

If you're SD then you're constrained to doing the AutoVE tutorial...
but you can still (and should) use the calc_pids.txt file from the Calc.VET tutorial
(use the pid CALC.WO2BEN instead of the BEN pid mentioned in the AutoVE titorial).
