Default MAP sensor tuning

I have a swap vehicle with an ecm from 02 Silverado in the vehicle and went to a hi-ram holley intake which requires ls3 style map sensor. I know this sensor is totally different my question is, can hptuners tune for the different style or do I need to find a way to make my MAP sensor fit?

MAP sensors are MAP sensors...they measure manifold pressure. Not much variance there.

Now a MAF for example is a different story as those are calibrated differently, but the MAP not so much. As long as you get a reading in the scanner you should be good to go.

kPa range and offset can vary greatly between different MAP sensors. You can make the original MAP sensor work with a piece of hose. Just tap into a manifold vacuum source somewhere. Might require some kind of hose barb fitting.

HP Tuners can adjust the MAP sensor parameters to match the sensor you add. I'm using an LS3 sensor on a P01 (AKA 411, red / blue) PCM.

Okay Thank You, Im using same PCM and I am currently building the harness for the engine and wanted to make sure HPtuners could compensate for the different sensor but couldn't get ahold of my tuner to verify.
