Default Replaced crankshaft position sensor, still no go

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This has happened 3 times in 4 days. I got up to a stop light and when taking off, the car just died on me. All electricals remained on, lights, radio stay on. I just changed the oil and spark plugs and all is nice and tight. I have HP tuners and no DTC's and voltage is good. I mean it just shuts off. Tried cranking it and it feels like the fuel was cut off. Then about 10-15 minutes later I would crank it and it would start like nothing was wrong with it. I had to just let it come to a stop on its own. No brakes and no powersteering gets scary. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!! The car started this morning and I scanned it and p0336 came up. That made sense. Replaced the sensor and it still won't start.

If it only happens on abrupt acceleration check your
battery hold-down, and for signs of it rolling back and
arcing / shorting to the fenderwell sheet metal.

I changed my spark plugs, but all is tight and snug. Battery is not loose and voltage is fine. My ECT sensor is plugged in, wouldn't that have tripped a code?

What is the code?

Crank sensor wires run down by #4 and #6 header primaries, make sure you have not burned any of those wires.

probably would have thrown a code, but stranger **** has happened before

I'd follow up on PSJ's post.

I'd also double check the plugs - just to make sure there are no cracks in them and everything is tight. It won't hurt anything to check and you might catch something that was previously overlooked.

BINGO!!! I removed the starter AGAIN and upon further inspection, I pulled out the wires and there was a small burn, so I undid the heat shrink and it had burned some of the wires, reslpiced and all is fine.
