Default those in SD..if you removed your maf come in.

i tried to search, but no luck. what did you all use to replace the maf? what type of bellows? Why not just put a filter on the TB? Just curious as to what everyone has done or is doing. Pics would be nice

you can do whatever you want, I think most just leave it in place incase they ever need it again but if you have a 3.5" pipe you could replace it w/that, you still want to use the iat sensor so I'm not sure how many just put a cone filter on the tb, and a filter on the tb would be getting alot of hot air, you could run some piping to a filter though and put the iat sensor in that pipe...

a bellow would cause a reduction of inside diamater, just straight 3.5" pipe about the same lenth as the maf.. and if you have a high flow filter on top of that it would be good airflow..

That would be a little on the ridiculous side if you've got a stocker. They're like 75mm which is likely the biggest bottleneck in most people's intake tract.

If you have the Blackwing Lid this is what I did. I went to Lowe's and bought a 3 1/2" coupler. I had to grind down the lip inside and then I painted it. It works great and cost about $2.

I used a silicone hose. clamped it on the outside of the lid neck and cut it at an angle on the TB

I have a 2001 trans am ws6 and in NC you cannot have ANY DTC's and only 1 system can be NOT READY.

what in the sam hell do you do when you go to get inspected and you have the MAF removed and set to fail so that its in SD??? I checked my car and set it to Non emissions as I have efi live and the car won't run with it set to not reported..

answer that PLEASE!!! as for some reason the damn O2s are ready but the damn heaters aren't; and what sensors lead to the AIR PUMP, I removed the piping and the hootie at the back drivers side of the car and plugged both holes and capped the hole on the piping on the passenger side also.

is there any way that the computer senses from any of this??? The physical AIR PUMP is there, it is plugged in, it is installed with a U pipe from its inlet to outlet....still it reports not ready
