Default need help, car won't start

I goofed up. I was removing the Hypertech tuning and accidently left my lights on. So the battery died during the process, recharged the battery but it still won't start. The programer said to call Hypertech, they said I would have to have a dealer reflash the computer. Is this my only option? This is on my all-time bone head moves list and any help would be great.

I'm pretty sure it is because your car basically has half a program now since it died in the process. You'll just have to have it towed and they can reflash it pretty quick. Sorry to hear this.
Good luck though.

Did you try charging the battery and giving the handheld another go?

Could I just send the pcm to a tuner and have them do it. I have air and egr deleted and a dealer would turn them back on with a reflash. If a mail order tune would work, I think that would be my best option at this point.

It would just depend on if they can write full programs or if they just modify the stock program. I'm sure you can find someone that would.

Just got in touch with wait4meperomance.com. I'm ordering a pcm form them with a mail order tune. Also, I wanted to have the cags, egr, air and rear O2's deleted. Anything else I should have added or deleted?

Well now wait4me says they don't have a 98 pcm. Any other sponsors want my business?
