Default P0106 (MAP sensor performance) with FAST Intake Install

I just installed a FAST 90/90 setup and I'm getting a P0106 "Manifold Absolute Pressure(MAP) Sensor Performance" The average was 13.8 and the units were "inHg". Isn't that about right? I put some blue RTV around the sensor too so I thought it was sealed up pretty good. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I have the same problem. Was you fast used? I had a slight leak in the seal where the upper and lower parts mated. Put a slight bead of rtv in there. Also check the seals where it sits on the head. If those are all good. I think if you open up the map threashold slightly that might remedy your problem. Hope this helps.

I don't think I got any rtv on the bottom of the sensor. That's the important part right? I just increased the idle area of the C3003 table by about 10% and I'm crossing my fingers the code stays away!

I got the idea from this post: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....96&postcount=2

Thanks guys!

I believe this is one of those codes that tries to cross-check
the speed-density vs alpha-N, and MAF vs speed density
airflow. With the 90/90 you may have a TPS voltage vs angle
discrepancy, or maybe your cam is just so large that things
just do not agree with the internal (inaccessible) model of
alpha-N airflow. There are limit adjustments for P0106 in my
version of HPTuners, under the Engine Diagnostics.

I haven't had a problem since I increased the idle area of the C3003 table by about 10%

I'm not getting the code anymore. Check out the link I provided earlier. It fixed my issue. Here it is again:
