Default AEM WIDEBAND YAY or NAY?

I have an aem wideband in my car. I installed it. and well. the sensor went out like 2 weeks later. Are these things accurate? or is it a waste for me to spend 70 bucks on a new sensor?

I have the AEM, sensor and gauge have been installed for 7 months now, seems to work OK, still reading 14.8 +/- in closed loop.

My problem is that the output signal seems to be getting steadily higher over time. I can't trust it for data logging anymore. The gauge is showing an AFR that is consistent with the NB, but stoich AFR is now logging at something like 16.5 instead of 14.7 (If I want to log, I have to adjust the offset in HPT before each logging session.)

Ford Muscle Magazine did a Wideband shoot out recently on 9 different units. The AEM performed the 2nd best out of the 9. Only the Innovate XD-16 performed better. I can email you the pages if you would like to read the article.

I do not believe that article...

I removed my XD-16 and replaced it with the AEM after countless problems with the Innovate stuff. I had a LM1 and it had great success. (it was even used to develop a calibration on a very high profile vehicle.)

They rated the AFX unit poorly when it has better electronics than other ones out there.

I have the AEM and it's dead on with dynos at two different locations. I've very please with mine. I purchased it used off here and purchased a new sensor just for piece of mind. Good product.

ALL units that use BOSCH LSU sensors will read the same.... the problem is with the accuracy of the sensor not the electronics.

The best sensors on the Market are NTK's, they are a True lab Grade 02 sensor with a built in 02 pump and are made to work with leaded fuels.

With that in mind, who's do you suggest? I want to run a gauge as well as have an output to use for input into hp tuners.
