Numerous Low Mileage T/A's 4 sale
I have never seen so many low mileage 2001-2002 Trans Ams for sale at any given time on ebay since about 2004. I mean real low mileage examples too. Must be the bad economy and people needing the money. It isn't the gas prices because these cars aren't driven!! The prices sure are holding on the high end though. What a great opportunity to turn the clock back and basically buy a brand new T/A. I feel like getting another but just can't use two. Quite interesting to see such nice MINT beautiful cars from SOM to the CETA models. What styling! It never gets old.

Autotrader http://www.autotrader.com has another 26 cars (1998-2002) listed with under 15,000 miles as of this post. Amazing how many cars are put away (and rarely driven) but are now surfacing. Tempted to get the 2002 SOM Formula down in FL for under $14k. Now that's a deal!

Autotrader links blow. I also hate how they lump together Trans Ams and Formulas. It made it impossible to find it.

I bought my 02 WS6 3 years ago and had 1900 miles on it...im sitting at 2179 right now....im 26 yrs old and ive always wanted one ever since i saw the commercial of the black one sitting at the stop light and ripping thru that car. Alot of my friends and ppl i work with always get on me over not driving it but at least i have the car i wanted and if i want to drive it or enjoy it, its there. Plus i love the attention and stares i get out of a car thats 6 yrs old and still looks mean as hell.

That is nice low mileage and would demand a price near the high end of retail if the car is in excellent condition. However a '99 with 15k would command a premium (on top of retail) that isn't found in any sellers guide books usually. A car with that type of mileage is now appealling to possible collectors or someone wanting a 'new' Trans Am that they missed out on way back when. Hope this helps explain the difference between low mileage and REALLY low mileage cars. The asking and actual selling prices of these unusual examples are only applicable to the two parties involved. I know how much some people love the SOM T/A's and would be willing to pay easily in the high 20's for a basically 'new' ultra low mileage example. Where else can you find one? You won't find any guide books telling what the car should sell for but the seller and buyer will BOTH be quite pleased.
