It was a great event.... given more time to finish my car I'm sure I could've ultimately done much better against cars with $150-200K in them. I have a little over $20K in mine. Used parts and pouncing on good deals...

The car on the road courses here in NorCal is a blast. In NASA HPDE Group 4 I was swallowing up every car there and reeling in a new Lotus Elise. I'm really enjoying it and it is my daily driver.

I love the LS1 RX7's. I'm going to be selling my car since I'm going to Germany (Army) so I'll be putting around in my wifes Maxima for a couple years. But when I get back, I think an LS1 RX7 is gonna be my new car.
I'll be on the lookout for that mag issue. Did they say when it should be out?

October is supposedly the issue with the competitors and November is when the competition results are printed.

I can't talk about anything other than the skidpad numbers as per the editors. In the performance tests I did well overall. I did meet some cool guys and saw some very exotic muscle. SCC Mag did a great job putting it on.

Car Craft has a red (87 I think?) With an LS1 in it. Its in for a competitor in the RSE challenge. Runs 11's in the 1/4 mile, and he states he built it for less then 10k...

His car is pretty sweet. I hope he does well. 400hp+ LS1 in a 2800lb anything will haul ****.
