1 bottle of Redline Water Wetter, distilled water, 1 bottle of RMI-25. Make sure all the bubbles are bled out of the cooling system. Then repeat 2-3 times.

Newest spec Daimler Chrysler (among many others) antifreeze/coolant. It's on the shelf at Peppies and elsewhere, albeit slightly more $$$ than Dex Cool.

So for those of us who don't have to worry about freezing temps, does running distilled water w/ water wetter pose any water pump lubrication or block corrosion concerns?

What's the installation procedure for above? Add the two bottles of WW, then top off with distilled water as necessary? Do I need to perform a coolant flush first?

Jim,

NASA banned the use of glycol based coolants. I've used distilled water only in my LT1 without any issues. since 2004.

Now, I have evacuated the cooling system a time or two ...

75% Distilled water
25% Dexcool
Water Wetter

Normal temps on the track are ~210 water/ ~215-220 oil. Highest I saw before I changed to a Taurus e-fan was about 235 water/ 240 oil.
