What do you guys think? AFR 227 LT4 heads with a Victor "E" series intake and a PTE 100 degree elbow with Accufab 90mm T-body.! This with a fairly large shot of nitrous will suffice!! oh and.....finally went solid-roller.

Killer setup. Did you custom drill the provisions for the fuel rails and injectors yourself? Is the throttle body gonna clear the hood?

don't run the elbow, it will restrict air flow.

ok why does it restrick flow? and for my important question, did you do the intake yourself or did someone else do it for you? i need to do the same thing on my LT1 not the fuel injection though just the carbed intake. Not hijackin or anything, i'm putting the LT1 in my truck a 85' would rather put a carb intake and use my carb and dist. then do the computer and wireing etc. etc. I know i can buy the GMPP intake but it's like $250 bucks. I'm doing a conversion on the old truck intake now.

How will it restrict airflow? It is huge! I dont see how?

The Victor "E" intake already has provisions for the fuel injectors. You can also buy the edlebrock fuel rail kit for this intake like I have done. Works nice!! Port Pros (www.portpros.com) drilled and ported the intake as well as the heads.

btw......yes it will clear an SS hood. Just have to do some clearancing on the underneath structure side of the hood. I can take pics of that if you wish.

No....I am not using a direct port on this one. I had a direct port setup last year on my stock LT4 intake but on this one I decided to use a plate system.
Here is a different pic. You have to drill this intake to bolt to the heads.....or drill the heads to the original sbc pattern.

so you modified the heads to work with the intake.did they fill the holes and drill and tap new ones? if my cast iron truck intake covn. comes out good i might do an alum. intake the same way. only thing is Ican"t weld alum. but we'll see, looks damn good though. and cool thing it clears the stock hood.

SO how much more does this flow than a LT4 well ported intake?
And what did this set-up run you? elbow intake and all fab work on it?

Well.....my fully ported LT4 intake was only flowing around 285 cfm through each runner. My heads are flowing over 320+ at .700 lift. This means.......I had good heads but the intake was choking them. I still ran a 9.85 @ 141 last year with that LT4 intake and a hydraulic cam (with nitrous). This is why I decided to go with this intake which flows well over the 320 mark and has more plenum volume. A solid roller cam etc. is a must with this Victor intake. RPM range will be from 4500-8500. My rev limiter will be set at 8000.

I cant remember the exact prices but the Victor "E" intake was around $300, the Edlebrock fuel rail kit was around $125, and the PTE elbow was around $150. Not sure on the fab cost. My sponsor took care of that.

Set up looks awesome, think Jason Warren's ran 9.5@141 or so on a stock pcm. You shouldnt have much problems beating that!
