Default The first splayed valve LS gen 3 cylinder head

Among our family of new LS series gen 3 cylinder heads, We have added a new style ls cylinder head to our library. We feel that with the ls engine approaching a decade of existance and now even larger displacement (up to 500 cid) that it is time to move our product line of ls cylinder heads to the next level. Using the technology we used to developed our Ford pro stock/comp elim. small block cylinder heads, we have come up with the first of our new canted/splayed valve cylinder head for the gen 3 ls1/2/6/7.

We will develop larger valve versions with due time, our first shot yeilded excellent results. Obviously not meant for a street performance vehicle, it will be a tough competitor for some time. We will have it on display, along with all of our other ETP-G3 cylinder heads. We also anticipate a small port version in the near future that will actually utilize a stock rocker arm and will be suited for a street application.

here are the numbers from our first version,

2.180 intake valve 55 degree seat. 285 cc approx.
4.125 bore 28"

.100 64
.200 148
.300 228
.400 318
.500 375
.550 392
.600 402
.700 414
.800 420
.900 422
1.0 423

exh. flowes were at 265 without a pipe, 296 with a 1 7/8 pipe

I look forward to meeting some of you guys from the forum in orlando!

Thanks,
ET Performance

Our LSx are evolving to the point where they rival racing BBC and are quickly obviously becoming the engine by which others are judged ,thanks to innovators like ETP and their new canted valve heads. ?is it only a matter of time before the LSx receives the Coates Spherical Rotary Valve System cylinder heads?

Damn

Any reason for why I can't put such heads on my C5-R 427 shortblock?

Besides, are there any updates with regard to your intake manifold development?

Keep up the good work
