Arrow Any interest in a JPR Electric Water Pump?

Down here in Hickville, there is a local Swap Meet that happens once a month where all the rednecks and mountain men come out of their caves and log cabins and bring all their assorted auto parts they decide to sell. Every once in a while, a decent deal can be had.

There was a new booth set up this time, and this guy had just moved down here from Philadelphia. He was selling a bunch of LSx stuff and I told him I was looking for an electric water pump. He had one called a "JPR". I'd never heard of it, and he said it was a local brand from "up north".

Meanwhile, my buddy decided not to run his Meziere, so I think I'm going to go with that one.

Any of you northern guys want this "JPR" unit? Best offer...

joe price racing... I have seen a pic of one, not sure if it actually works or not though... if it's like most of the other stuff from that shop, it's junk.

So did Joe move down south? Anyone know? Sad to say, I was friends with Joe and and I was sad to see what happened. Hopefully time will heal wounds.

Yeah, that one LOL. Does Jay fischer still make/sell those? If so, then I have to get in touch with them, I'd like to actually pick one up, I think it's a little more durable then the meziere race setup, and if I'm removing the a/c and power stereing like I think I am this year, that pump, along with the BMR alt. bracket are probably a better route to take.

well its a good pump. its reverse flow wich meizere cant do, due to Joe having the patent for it. its lowest dyno pull was 13 rwhp and 19 rwhp max.

its worth the buy

he still lives around here. i guess my car is junk then then too????

-brandon

He is a close personal friend of mine, and dont say crap when you only know a quarter of the story.

jay does not make/sell them he never did there were only a handful made.

I think you're all talking about the pump that TALON WS6 designed, and ran on his car. It was then borrowed if you will, from you know who. I'm sure he would like it back.

Its lowest pull? How do you know that? Were you there?

Ugh, you are in way over your head bud, I'd just take a step back, take a deep breath, and enjoy a warm glass of STFU if I were you chief....

Brandon,

I was around when the $hit wen't down, you my friend, were not. I know the story plenty as I witnesed it first hand. I was there when Erin's car was at Jay Fisher for a JPR H/C set up, and later when the $hit went down. Im sure you heard the story from Joe, who lets face, has not been truthfull that often. So who should I trust?

I can say that Jay Fisher is a close personal friend of mine so I trust his story. And his story includes Joe steeling the design and loosing a court case causing him to be obligated to pay Jay Fisher.

This is the reason why I got away from all of the **** associated with the eastern section.

All I wanted to know is if he was still in the area, and I guess he is. Demonicbird00, the next time you see Joe tell him Brien said Hi and I hope he's doing ok.

And yes there are multiple sides to every story, for example why it's ok to leave the scene of a car accident.

I'm with Brandon on this one here. I do not know the whole story, now will I care to hear the whole story. Time does heal wounds, and I believe Joe has learned from what happened. Joe is a great guy. It brings joy to be around him as he is such an energenic person, and a great guy. Brandon and I have been around Joe: Brandon more than I, however, Joe's great personality keeps all his local friends happy. Say what you want but I side with Brandon on this

That is a nice story, too bad the US Patent Office has no record of any patent being issued to anyone named Joe Prince.

Since you know him so well maybe you can provide us the patent number to prove that statement?

BTW here is the source used:
