Default LT1 - LS1: How NOT to clear the stearing shaft

This was done by a shop, before I bought the car. I didn't know how bad it was until I yanked out the headers. New rack is on the way...

I'm looking for a cheap set of headers that I can modify to use on my project since I'm going to have to modify them a lot. Very interested, how cheap is cheap like the other guy said? I have paypal, email me at tjmcp@yahoo.com if you have more pictures and lets see if we can work out a deal.

Thanks man!

I should have put a "jk" after that cuz I cut up the pax side to get it out after I saw the drivers side. I'm at 60102. I'll send to 'em to anybody for $25 plus shipping, but remember the pax side is in pieces. I'll post some pics later if you guys really want 'em...

I really want them... as long as the passengers side wasn't messed up too much you can consider them sold depending on how the pictures look. Also, are they race headers and if not do you know by chance what year they are from? (they are for a LS1 right, just double checking to make sure, they look like they are) The pictures would answer that more so. Post up the pictures and if you could email me from your paypal email address (I like to do this to verify I got the correct address before sending money)... if the pictures check out okay then I'll send you the money right away. I'm at 30019 in GA, how much do you think shipping will be to where I'm at? I'm hoping it won't be more than $50 to $75, but I dunno, haven't shipped headers before.

My main concern is on the passengers side where you cut it at if it was at an open spot and if I'll be able to easily weld different pipes onto them. I'm about to go to an easter get together today but if you get those pics up later today I'll respond later tonight. If need be I can send you the $25 now and then when you find out how much shipping is I can send you that amount, let me know.

Thanks and Happy Easter everybody!

More pics. The pax side should weld together easy enough but it was pretty banged up even before I touched it. They are not race headers btw...

Just got the headers today... man, they really did a number on those headers. Thanks for getting them shipped off to be so quickly like that.
