first day out with the car put it in the 8's This was the first day out with the new car. I was working the bugs out on the 4- link. The following weekend I went 8.48 @ 162. Not bad for a little SBC.

Its an all aluminum 434 dash 12 head motor. With 3 stages on it. 15.5:1 compression. With a glide. Its got a crower 4" crank, Oliver 6.250 steel rods, JE custom pistons 4.155. The rest of it is typical stuff.

Cam is 268 272 on a 110 ls with 780 lift. And I run it through 4" oval exhaust with magnaflow race bullets. Its pretty insane on the street. So far I've be lucky and the cops have left me alone. But I also behave myself in it. My 01 ws6 is my street beater. I hope that's done soon.
