Default KTS Motor Plates

Hey Guys,

Getting ready to burn those KTS Motor Plates again.
You seen them before. I designed them and use
to sell them to APE. I have several people that
need one but would like to have at least 10 interested.
Cost for the kit is 185 plus shipping. See Banner------->
for pics. These are by for the best LS1 Motor Plates
on the market. I carefully watched out for that front
cover gasket clearance and all bolts fit perfectly.
I am a liscence cad engineer that designs all my stuff.
This is not junk!
Dealer programs welcome !

What does the "kit" include? Front and mid plates, or just front plate? Are hardware and mounting tabs included? Is it a hold and weld install, or is any fabrication required? Thanks, Shawn

Default The Kit

Kit includes:
Profiled Motor plate
H.S. Steel mounting plates
Grade 8 Bolts and nuts w/ HS washers

This kit is self aligning. Set back is up to customer.
There is a little bit of grinding required at the
K-member mouinting nut holes. (easy)
I would be glad to walk someone through it.
It is no big deal at all. The results is the best
motor plate installation on the market.

Default Midplate

The basic kit does not include special designed
midplate. I will include midplate for $60.00.
Comes with with body tabs and grade 8 hardware also.

Very nice. Any chance of you designing a torque strap for those of us who cant pull the motor? Or any thoughts you could offer me to build one. Attaching point on the block, where would be best?

Even with a motor plate you can unbolt the k-member and let the
mototr/trans down to the ground with a hydraulic jack.
In fact these motors where designed and installed from the bottom
at the factory. I did'nt mean to sound snutty. Does this help?

I'm sure it helps someone..lol but I'm limited in what I can do in my garage and dropping the motor is one of them. I'll have to look into prothane or solid mounts or something. Nice plates though!
