Of how to rout the main power wire for an aftermarket amp into the cabin and all the way to the back? For my camaro of course.

Nevermind I found one! Another question, do I HAVE to hook up a ground wire next to the battery?

Are you talking about the ground for the amp?
I never have. I've always just found a place close to where the amp was mounted.

No but you HAVE to scratch to bare metal if you want a good ground.

So its ok to run just a ground from the amp? The amp I have is a 4ch that push's 50 watts RMS to each speaker.

You need a fused hot that comes directly from the battery, and a ground to the most convenient place that provides a sufficient chassis ground.

Ok I got it all intalled and running a few hours ago, although the 6.5" rockfords I have in the sail panels suck in bass at about the same volume level as running off the radio!

I need to look for some 8in subs, and tomorrow I'll try to mount the amp on the back of that flap thing that covers the trunk.
My bro's 95 z28 has the bose system and the bass notes still sounds better than mine! Whats up with that?

Oh yeah should I be worried about the rubber gromet I thats on the firewall at the passenger side? I put the amp power cable throught that and its still sorta opened. I'm kinda worried about water going off the edge of the black panel were the windshield wipers are.

being that the amp is small a second ground at the battery isn't crutial, but is usually recommended. a good place to ground in the hatch is on the rear seatbelt bolt. be sure to scrape the paint. to mount the amp on the back flat area, be sure to put a board under teh carpet, otherwise you will find holes in your gas tank
