Depending on size you can take silicone adhesive and attach them to the back of the speaker holder before install. Makes wiring easy.

I installed a crossover on the passenger side door panel, but was unable to do this for the driver side. But this was on a camaro.

My crossover was from a componet kenwood speaker, tweeter system. So it was a small crossover. I put one crossover on the top left side of the passenger dooer panel. The other at the driver side, kick panel.

I used a piece of dampening material rolled it into a cylinder and attached it to the back of the crossover and then attached it to the flat part of the door nearest the hinge. You may need to "tape" the wires to the same panel to keep from interfering with the window. Worked for me pretty easy.

are u kidding me, u can put them in the kick panels and have them out of the way. I have the huge infinity perfect crossovers and they fit in the "pocket" on the passenger side, and i velcroed it on the driver side.......... i may post up a pick to show u how it looked.

The problem with hiding crossovers becomes if they're adjustable - as many highend crossovers are..

When I initally set my system up, I played around with different crossover settings for a good 3 weeks until i was satisfied. Since then (5 months ago?) I've tweaked the settings at least twice.

Question

I was thinking the same thing. I'm trying to find a good place for some Diamond Audio crossovers, these things are freaking huge. I might can squeeze it in on the passenger side but the drivers side looks impossible under the kick panel.

put one of the jl xr series crossover under the steering wheel inside the lower dash flap, other is in the same spot under the dash flap on the passenger side right behind the glove box, both are fairly large and could not find any room in the doors
