Anyone with Autotrix passenger pwr window mod
So I installed the wiring mod, and it didn't work. I could hear the relays clicking when I pushed the switch up and down, but the window didn't move. I double-checked my wiring, everything was according to the instructions, still no luck. Anyone have any DETAILED instructions with pics?

Yeah both my window motors were replaced in 2005, so they're good. Maybe I just have a bad relay or something...i'll have to get the multimeter out i guess.

If you hear a click when selecting up and down then the relays are good. Do you have good power? The relays and the window motors operate off seperate power sources. Pull the pul off the window motor and while selecting up or down check for power and ground. You might have wired something wrong.

check the ground for the relay. remember that most of the parts in the door are made of fiberglass and won't make a ground.
and other than that from what i hear the kit comes with a relay, this one might be bad. check it on a multimeter and if it's no good you can get one at autozone for liek $5

We check every relay before packaging to try and insure good product quality control but there are always special cases. Most of the time if the relay clicks it is ok, although I would check for the amount of voltage coming off of the switch leg of the relay to determine if it is the problem.
Installing our kit exactly like we show also plays a big role. Power and ground locations (as stated above) make a big difference.

I fear getting the autozone window motors cause i've read that they don't seal right at the very top?

Missed this thread... Sorry about that.
Replacing the motor should get the window up all the way if not greasing the track should fix that.
Installing the driver and passenger side kits will make sure the windows stay functioning like they should for a long time instead of the usual 1-2 years if that.
Hope this helps. PM me if you have any more questions.

Before I installed the Autotrix kit, I replaced my passenger side window motor, and it didn't help at all. It was still really slow. I bought the Autotrix kit, and it fixed the window.....to the point, I put the original motor back in, and it's like brand new again.
I'd like to speed up the driver's window, but it's not slow enough to spend $129 on.....yet.

We did our best to get the cost low on the driver side kit but having to create an express down module that would function with the kit is where the cost is.
Hopefully we can ratchet that price down over the next year or so.
