Default Need quick help With LED Humount.

Has anyone had problems with getting their plastic radio bezel to go back over the Humount after you get it installed? The humount lights up like it should and trying to get the stock bezel back on. Surely I don't have to cut down the humount mount do I?

Also, I connected the black wire to the negative and the red wire to the positive coming from the radio to light the humount and when I was crimping the black together I hear a pop and now the radio won't power on. I tried to reset it on the unit like the manual says and nothing. Also, I blew the radio fuse and changed it out and still won't power on. Surely I didn't blow the receiver that quick? Any ideas? Need help.

Check the rest of your fuses. I know when mine went out it was another fuse that had blown, not the radio fuse. I think it was the courtesy fusr or something like that.

I'm still trying to find out what went wrong, I'm checking all fuses and wires. Cruise-in tomorrow and kind of bummed if the radio won't work.

Humount is a bezel that lights up and says Trans am or something like that. I think I'm selling it after I get the radio working,.

You don't re-use it, You are suppose to leave it off. That's what the aluminum front piece is for. I just got mine in the mail this monday, and that's how I installed mine.

I'm talking about the plastic stock bezel that covers the radio and AC controls.
I wasn't planing to re-use the trim sterio piece around the radio.

Sorry, my bad.
That piece should just pop back into place.
I had no problem with mine. everything went back together with out any clearance issues at all.
Hopefully you didn't fry your radio! Probably just blown a couple of fuses.
Good luck!

I got it on, I guess the radio needed to slide just a hair back in Humount's plastic holder, my bezel went on ok after that. Looks great and glad I bought it.
