88 gta (ls1) vs Nissan Sentra?? Ok today i made a run to the junkyard to find a a/c delete box, well i pull in and shut the car down. I walk inside and go to the front counter and a guy that works there said my car sounds good, he asked me if i wanted to run him, i looked around and didnt see any fast cars, and he said he had a home built Sentra. He told me he would pull out and i should try to keep up, i told him to follow me, and everyone in the place started laughing, they were all smiling and grinning.
so i went out side and there is this camo sentra with a red front end on it. I saw an innercooler mounted on the front, but still wasnt worried. So we made our way out to the highway, it was from a slow roll, i took it clear to 5th gear and had busses on him, he just kept getting smaller and smaller.
we made our way back to the shop we pulled in and he asked me what it had in it, i showed him, he thought it was a tpi car, with maybe a cam and some headers, he was a nice guy, it was his sons car that he had built him, said it runs mid to low 13's. Im not sure on the mods, i know it had drag radials on it, and a turbo, i think he said he was running like 13lbs of boost, dont remember, it was a 5 spd, probably ported heads (since he does alot of that stuff) it was a major sleeper.
It was cool getting to run my car right after finishing my LT's car pulls a little harder now.
he wants me to run his son in his 68 firebird (chevy 350) i know that car had n20 on it, but he said he would remove the bottle for me.

only paid 6500 for the car. but it needed some body work.
sounds like a damn good deal with the engine in there
