Pullied Cobra Vs Cam only 01 SS
my buddys Pullied Cobra...put down 465rwhp and 540rwtq..
vs my 01 MS3 camaro SS....Cam only...Stock 241 heads, stock 3.42's with bolt on's and dyno tune...I would say the dyno numbers but people will jump on my **** because their high...
anyways, last year the Cobra trapped 118-119.8 consistantly...
this is from a 65 roll...Im in 2nd, hes in 3rd...we shut down around 155

Dont mind the shitty quality...he was on the wrong side of the car.
2nd race I wasnt revving it out as high which obviously made a difference because he came around me a little quicker on the top end.

I heard through a little birdie before our runs he was expecting to pull me pretty hard....Im pretty sure hes on the edge of his seat right now with how it turned out.
My injectors are maxed at 5800 rpms and im going through my stock catback...I have the injectors and a electric cutout to install....im hoping that should give me the edge so their will be a rematch im sure...
as far as my car with the MS3, I love it. The drivability is alot like stock..only thing is you cant cruise at 1500rpms with 3.42's...In 1st gear I can...but not any other gears,...If I stay around 2k its smooth. I have been DDing the car for about a month now with not a single issue.

Very nice race! How much power can your car really be making if he pulled on you with a 118-119 mph car? My brother and I both make 400 rwhp (2002 Z28's) and both trap 117 mph at an ok track and 118+ at Englishtown.
As far as the high roll comments, both cars are stick's, so unless one spins, the Cobra should have a good advantage from a lower speed due to a huge torque advantage.

Your car seems strong. Yes I want to see some lower rolls and digs. Maybe a daytime vid I couldnt see ****. And if he can drive which you cant tell if he can from a 65 roll then he should pull you easily. BTW-- I bet your car made 430rwhp?

I want to do a dig with him but he wont do a dig...I have a **** load of suspension work under my car but im still on street tires...from a Dig my car moves out with minor tire spin on the 1-2 shift...hes NOT a good driver from a dig...but neither am I really. This is my first standard car and I have only owned it for 8 months now.

My car was dyno tuned with the LM1 exhaust...but it was WAAAAY too loud with this cam and that exhaust

Personally, WOT on the top end I did notice a little power loss going from my LM1 to my stock SLP muffler....However, my cutout will solve that

118-119 should put you around 420-430 rwhp. If you're saying that you made a bunch more than that and you're saying that your setup is all screwed up and will make more then I agree that something was up with the dyno. I agree with you that 430 sounds realistic.

The dyno wasnt calibrated correct...the owner that did my cam install/dyno tune Talked to me about it a week later after I picked my car up...it read really high and thats why Im not saying the numbers
